Using Interpolating Correlation Filters to Estimate Object Scale and Rotation
نویسنده
چکیده
There has been a great deal of work done on scale and rotation-invariant object detection using Optical Correlation Filters. However, very little has been written on the possibility of using these lters to estimate these parameters. In this article, we illustrate how this can be accomplished for facial images.

Evaluation of New MOND Interpolating Function with Rotation Curves of Galaxies
The rotation curves of a sample of 46 low- and high-surface brightness galaxies are considered in the context of Milgrom's modi_ed dynamics (MOND) to test a new interpolating function proposed by Zhao et al. (2010) [1] and compare with the results of simple interpolating function. The predicted rotation curves are calculated from the total baryonic matter based on the B-band surface photometry,...
متن کاملEstimation of soil moisture using optical, thermal and radar Remote Sensing )Case Study: South of Tehran(
Traditional methods of field measurement of soil moisture in addition to the difficulty, the need for manpower and money and fail to take place on a large scale to be able to show moisture. Therefore, remote sensing has become a widespread use .Landsat 8 satellite data and Sentinel-1 radar satellite from Tehran were provided. 72 soil samples were taken at the same time by satellite passing from...
متن کاملContours Extraction Using Line Detection and Zernike Moment
Most of the contour detection methods suffers from some drawbacks such as noise, occlusion of objects, shifting, scaling and rotation of objects in image which they suppress the recognition accuracy. To solve the problem, this paper utilizes Zernike Moment (ZM) and Pseudo Zernike Moment (PZM) to extract object contour features in all situations such as rotation, scaling and shifting of object i...
متن کاملRobust Estimation of Similarity Transformation for Visual Object Tracking with Correlation Filters
Most of existing correlation filter-based tracking approaches only estimate simple axis-aligned bounding boxes, and very few of them is capable of recovering the underlying similarity transformation. To a large extent, such limitation restricts the applications of such trackers for a wide range of scenarios. In this paper, we propose a novel correlation filter-based tracker with robust estimati...
متن کاملParameter Estimation Using Dual Fractional Power Filters
Many correlation filters have been designed to be invariant to certain parameters within a set of input images. For example, the construction of rotation and scale invariant filters is well documented. However, an estimation of a generic varying parameter is not available by these methods. This paper presents a two-filter method that estimates the value of a varying parameter in the input image.
